Description

ALCATEL-LUCENT ENTERPRISE 8244 DECT Handset
3BN67380AA

The Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise 8244 DECT phone is a robust handset that offers advanced functions for business communication and services designed to help protect lone workers. Via the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise telephony protocol – Alcatel-Lucent Generic Access Profile (AGAP) – users can access the company directory and connect the handset to DeskPhones.

The 8244 DECT phone offers an extra-large colour display, excellent audio quality and automatic gain control (AGC), enabling calls to be made even in noisy environments. The cordless phone features Bluetooth® connectivity for a headset, allowing hands-free and safe communication.

The specially developed rubberised grip is well suited to industrial environments, healthcare facilities and offices. The alarm button and optimised screw-on belt clip provide additional support for lone workers. The geolocation function, based on Bluetooth® Low Energy (BTLE) and beacons, offers location accuracy of up to 10 metres. Valuable seconds can save a life when a rescue team is sent directly to the correct floor.

The phone is compatible with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise TDM and IP base stations. This enables companies to get the most from their existing infrastructure and protect previous investments.
