The multifunctional information centre for demanding requirements

In addition to the extra-large backlit display, the Aastra 5380IP also features an integrated alphanumeric keyboard,
helping you save valuable time every day when searching for contacts or creating text messages. Practical functions such as automatic callback, call forwarding and conference calling also help increase efficiency during your working day. To protect the phone against unauthorised use, it can be secured with an access code.

Increased productivity thanks to expansion key modules
Users can choose to expand the Aastra 5380IP with up to three expansion key modules with 20 keys each, or with three display-based expansion key modules with 15 keys each, available at a later date. The respective status of a function is visually indicated by the red or green LEDs integrated into the keys. Depending on the colour, you can immediately see, for example, whether it is an external or internal call. Even in low-light conditions, device navigation remains clear thanks to the backlit display. All Office IP endpoints in a company can be configured via a web interface, significantly reducing the administration effort required for the system operator.

Expansion key module
The expansion key module for the Office IP system telephones comprises 20 freely configurable keys. Each configurable key includes
2 memory positions, which can be assigned individual numbers or functions. The active status of a key is indicated on the Aastra 5370IP by a red LED integrated into the key, and on the Aastra 5380IP by a red or green LED. The Aastra 5370IP can be expanded with one expansion key module, while the Aastra 5380IP can be expanded with three. In the case of wall mounting, both Office models are limited to one expansion key module.
